About Jess

Creating safe, informed spaces for healing

Jess Grunberg is a registered Clinical Psychologist with more than 15 years of experience. As well as a Registered Yoga Teacher and Certified Trauma Centre Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator. With these two areas of practice, she has a deep commitment to and capacity to offer safe, compassionate, and informed spaces for healing.

With a background that includes work at the Department of Psychological Medicine at King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), and experience across inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings, she has specialised knowledge of women’s health, perinatal mental health, trauma, and the mental health and wellbeing of health professionals.

A warm, collaborative approach

In every session, Jess offers a warm and collaborative approach. She meets clients where they are and supports them to reconnect with their own resources through a trauma-informed, person-centred lens.

Jess draws on evidence-based psychological approaches and mind-body practices to support mental health and wellbeing across five key areas: Clinical Psychology, Consultation & Training, Supervision, Women’s Health (including Perinatal Mental Health), and Yoga Therapy.

Outside of work, Jess finds joy in yoga, nature walks, swimming at the beach, and spending time with her family and border collie Bear.
