Clinical Psychology

In working with adults, my main areas of interest and experience are:

  • Perinatal mental health including anxiety, depression, grief and loss

  • Adjustment to pregnancy and parenthood

  • Women’s health

  • Trauma including post-traumatic stress and complex trauma; birth trauma

  • Interpersonal difficulties

  • Family of origin issues

  • Emotional regulation and distress tolerance

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Healthcare professional burnout, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma

  • Promoting mental health and well-being

If you choose to work with me, our first session is generally an opportunity for me to begin to understand your psychological presentation and reasons for seeking therapy, and for you to see if I am the right 'fit' for you. We can begin to discuss and develop our plan for therapy.

Sessions are generally conducted in person. However, in the event of COVID restrictions, or by negotiation where appropriate, sessions are also offered via telehealth (Zoom Pro).

I do not currently offer couples therapy, nor work directly with children and adolescents.

Professional Consultation & Clinical Supervision

I offer individual and small group consultation to professionals in relation to issues including perinatal mental health, women's health, trauma, trauma-informed care and well-being.

I am a registered supervisor with AHPRA. I offer individual and small group supervision to clinical psychologists.

You are welcome to contact me to discuss the cost of professional consultation and clinical supervision services.
